Learning strategies to promote critical thinking are emphasized. Values clarification is utilized as a tool to improve decision making. Time management is emphasized as a tool to improve personal and organizational management. The course provides an orientation to distance learning methodologies such as WebCT, electronic mail, and computerized data searches to promote information competence.
