The 2016-17 University Catalog cover features Chico State Women's Volleyball team celebrating! The image is an example of how hard CSU, Chico athletes work in their respective sport(s)!


CSU, Chico has won 63 conference (California Collegiate Athletic Association, CCAA) championships and four of the last five Conference Commissioner’s Cups, awarded to the top athletics department in the CCAA. In addition, CSU, Chico athletes are regularly acknowledged by league and NCAA Division II officials for their academic successes.


In 2014-15, 20 percent of all of Chico State’s athletes earned CCAA All-Academic honors, awarded to letterwinners in CCAA-sponsored sports who boast a grade point average of 3.40 or higher. That number has risen in each of the past eight years.
