With the opening of the new Science Building in 2021, Chico State continues its commitment to serve students and the community through use of state-of-the-art development.
While the building features the expected space for chemistry, physics, geological and environmental sciences, and science education labs, it also offers much more. Active-learning classrooms, undergraduate and graduate research spaces, and designated student club rooms encourage collaboration and allow students to develop a sense of community.
At Chico State community extends beyond campus. With that in mind, the new building includes hands-on opportunities for North State K–12 students and their teachers, as well as science-on-display features.
This ultramodern 110,200-square-foot facility is a full display of Chico State’s role as a leader in innovation that benefits the North State region and higher education.
