Biogeography and landscape ecology are keys for evaluating plant and animal distributions at local to global spatial scales. The course emphasizes nature and impact of continuity and patchiness of species distributions and movement, and material flow on the structure and dynamics of wildland, agrarian, and urbanized landscapes.
