The Minor in Psychology

Course Requirements for the Minor: 21 units

The following courses, or their approved transfer equivalents, are required of all candidates for this minor.

Introduction to concepts and problems in psychology. Topics include perception, learning, development, motivation, personality, abnormal behavior, and biological and social bases of behavior. 3 hours lecture. This is an approved General Education course. (007881)

Any Psychology (PSYC) courses.

15 units selected from:

Any upper-division (300- or 400-level) Psychology (PSYC) courses.

Students are urged to consult with an advisor to choose psychology courses that would supplement or complement their major or other interests.
